Dog CPR: A friend sent me this interesting and informative youtube video about CPR for dogs. Actually, his dog had collapsed, and knowing how to administer CPR to a dog saved its life.
The basic steps of CPR for dogs are:
1-Lay dog on its right side and kneel behind its back
2-Check for heartbeat or pulse
3-Hold jaw closed and give 4 quick breaths in nose
4-Give 15 short compressions in 10 seconds
5-Hold jaw closed and give 1 breath in nose
6-Give abdominal squeeze
7-Check dog for pulse; - Repeat steps 4-7
